Why should young people exercise?

Young people should exercise for a whole host of fantastic reasons that benefit their bodies and minds! Regular physical activity helps build strong muscles and bones, which is super important during these growing years. It also keeps their hearts healthy, making them feel more energetic and reducing the risk of future health problems like heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

Exercise is a fantastic mood booster too! It releases feel-good chemicals in the brain, which can help lower stress and anxiety and improve overall mental well-being. It can even help with sleep, making it easier to drift off and feel rested. Plus, being active can boost confidence and self-esteem as they achieve new skills and fitness goals. It's all about feeling good inside and out!

Exercise can be a really positive tool for young people dealing with bullying in several ways, although it's important to remember it's not a direct solution to stop the bullying itself. Instead, it can empower them and build resilience.
